To provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to children and adolescent with autism, including evaluation and treatment of linguistic and cognitive communication disorders and development processes. To work as part of a larger educational treatment team as defined by individualized program plans. This role involves clinical service delivery, including conducting comprehensive speech-language screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing direct therapy services (up to 20 hours per week). The position also requires active participation in IEP and team collaboration, including developing and documenting IEP goals, attending multidisciplinary team meetings, and consulting with educational staff and families. Additionally, the role includes clinical supervision of Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), maintaining documentation and compliance, and performing departmental and administrative duties such as planning, data collection, and maintaining therapy spaces. Continuing education is also a part of the role.
