About The Position

Patriot Outpatient Therapy is a veteran-owned and family-operated company seeking a Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist for its Outpatient services in Assisted and Independent Living facilities. This role is based in Medina County and Portage County, with business hours Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Must have criminal background check.
Must have a current CPR (BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
Experience in outpatient settings preferred but not required.
The ability to drive

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for a diverse patient population.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapy for speech, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
Educate patients and their families about speech and language development and treatment techniques.
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in speech therapy.
