About The Position

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is a nationally ranked academic, quaternary care system based in Chicago's western suburbs. Loyola Medicine Transport is based at Loyola University Medical Center and is part of a three-hospital system including Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, and MacNeal Hospital. This role supports Outpatient Adult and Pediatrics between Maywood and Oakbrook Terrace Rehab locations. The hours of operation are 7:30 am - 7 pm Mon-Thur and 7:30 am - 5 pm Fri. The position requires working at least two evenings per week. Loyola Medicine is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist interested in working for a regional leader in healthcare, delivering compassionate care and improving the lives of those in our communities.

Requirements

• Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Current IL state licensure as a SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech Language Pathology (CCC)
• CPR/BLS - American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive speech/language and/or swallowing diagnostics at an advanced level and determines intervention programming to facilitate diagnosis and treatment of inpatients and outpatients with speech, language, voice, and/or swallowing disorders to optimal level of functioning.
