About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at a boys' high school. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students develop effective communication skills that support academic success, social development, and future independence. This is a full-time, school-based position working collaboratively with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers.

Requirements

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Current New York State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff.

Nice To Haves

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (CF candidates may be considered).
New York State Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification preferred.
Experience working with adolescents in a school setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide speech-language evaluations for high school students.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' needs.
Deliver individual and small-group speech-language therapy sessions.
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs in compliance with state and school requirements.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, psychologists, and other support staff to ensure student success.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and accommodations.
Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, pragmatic language, and executive functioning-related communication skills.
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and school regulations.
