About The Position
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathologist to join a collaborative school team for maternity leave coverage from September to December. This position supports a preschool caseload of about 45 students, providing meaningful, high-quality speech-language services in an educational setting. Requirements
- Ability to successfully complete all required background screenings.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
- Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, a Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license and ESA certification.
- This is an on-site position. Candidates must be available to provide in-person services; remote/teletherapy is not available.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience providing speech-language services in a school setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments.
- Complete evaluation reports and all required documentation.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate service records.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to preschool students.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and the special education team to support student success.
- Foster communication development and help preschool students achieve their individualized goals throughout this temporary maternity leave assignment.
