Preschool Speech-Language Pathologist (FMLA)
About The Position
Cross Country Education is seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to provide essential FMLA coverage for a preschool population in Chicago Ridge, IL for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves conducting speech and language screenings, evaluations, and direct therapy for preschool-aged students to support early communication development. The position requires managing a preschool caseload while maintaining compliant documentation, progress reports, and service minutes. Collaboration with families, classroom teachers, and multidisciplinary teams is essential to integrate communication goals into the daily learning environment. There are opportunities to facilitate smooth transitions for students entering or exiting services during the FMLA coverage periods.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist (Non-Teaching) endorsement
