About The Position

Avenues is seeking a Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (3 days per week) to join our Student Success Team (SST). In this unique role, the Speech-Language Pathologist partners with teachers, families, and SST colleagues to support students’ communication development through observation, screening, classroom-based strategies, and early intervention within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework. This position focuses primarily on consultation, screening, and classroom-based support rather than maintaining a traditional therapy caseload. The Speech-Language Pathologist plays an important role in helping teachers create communication-supportive classrooms and in identifying students who may benefit from additional support.
