About The Position

PT Solutions is hiring Speech Language Pathologists in San Marcos, TX, to work with Christus Santa Rosa Hospital - Medical Center. PT Solutions partners with CHRISTUS Santa Rosa - San Marcos, a 170-bed facility that is a Level 4 Trauma Center, an Accredited Chest Pain Center, and a Primary Stroke Center. Clinicians will evaluate, treat, and reassess patients in all areas of the hospital, including the intensive care unit, progressive care unit, medical-surgical unit, and outpatient surgery. The diverse patient population includes orthopedics, neurological conditions, general surgery, pulmonary, and cardiac conditions.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a CAA approved Speech-Language Pathology program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology
  • Basic Life Support certification

Responsibilities

  • Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient to facilitate return home or to next level of care
  • Establish timely treatment plans for each patient’s specific needs
  • Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members
  • Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc)
