About The Position
AnthroMed Education is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary students for the 2026–2027 school year in Westminster, Maryland. This opportunity is ideal for an SLP who enjoys working with students across a range of communication needs while collaborating closely with educators, families, and related service providers. You'll join a welcoming school community where student success is prioritized and clinicians are provided with the resources and support needed to thrive. The district is known for its strong special education infrastructure, including Special Education Consultants who provide coaching and guidance throughout the school year. Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist License or eligibility for licensure
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Passion for supporting elementary-aged students
Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students
- Conduct evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Support students with articulation, receptive and expressive language, social communication, and AAC needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
- Monitor student progress and adjust services as appropriate
