About The Position
LP Therapy is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide evaluation and treatment of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a Long-Term Care setting.
Requirements
- Current state SLP license
- Master's degree with CCC required
- Strong knowledge of Medicare documentation
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- LTC experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Review medical charts
- Evaluate speech, language, cognition, and swallowing
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Modify programs based on patient progress
- Provide therapy for communication, cognitive, and swallowing deficits
- Complete timely and accurate Medicare and facility documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Support patient satisfaction and quality outcomes
- Comply with productivity and regulatory standards
