About The Position

HealthPro Heritage has a great Speech Language Pathologist position available at our Levindale facility in Baltimore, Maryland! Are you a passionate Speech Language Pathologist looking to make a real difference in the lives of seniors? At HealthPro Heritage, you will work at a leading long-term care facility, we don’t just offer a job — we offer purpose, connection, and community. Full Time hours available! Pay range of $45-$54 based on experience. Open to CF's for this role.

Requirements

  • Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in geriatrics or long-term care is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Empower residents to regain independence and improve quality of life
  • Create personalized treatment plans and work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team
  • Support daily activities, adaptive techniques, and cognitive rehab
  • Bring compassion, creativity, and clinical expertise to every session
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations. Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results.
  • Treatment and Education: Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitor and adjust treatment plans; educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
