We're currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our ever-expanding Home Health team in Westmoreland County, PA. This role offers the chance to directly provide patient care within homes, truly making a difference in the lives of our patients.
Requirements
- Meets the education and experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech pathology or audiology granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of one year practicing as a licensed speech language pathologist is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services to patients as prescribed by the physician.
- Assist patients with speech, language, oral and pharyngeal sensor motor function, hearing, balance, and their undergoing processes.
- Ensure quality and safe delivery of speech pathology services.
- Promote and assist patients in a progression of care to achieve optimum patient involvement and independent maintenance of their needs in the least restrictive environment.
- Ensure that speech pathology services reflecting the Agency mission and standards are provided in accordance with federal, state, and local standards guidelines, and regulations.
- Demonstrate support for achieving the mission of the Agency.
