About The Position
Mid South is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist to work weekly consistent PRN with our Rehab Therapy TEAM at a local hospital in Magee, Mississippi. The ideal candidate would be able to work 2 to 3 days each week in the afternoons from 1pm to 5pm. The assignment is predominantly pediatric outpatient with some swing bed. We are looking for a compassionate therapist who is experienced in treating children with autism, speech & language delays and feeding issues as well as an excellent communicator who will update parents on home exercises and goals.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted professional license to practice
- Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited college or university
- Passing score on National Board Examination in Speech Language Pathology
- Completed Clinical Fellowship year with nine (9) months of professional experience under supervision while employed as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
