About The Position

HealthPro Heritage has a great opportunity for a Speech-Language-Pathologist (SLP). Be a part of something great! A compact license between WV and OH would be great! Need: Part-time - 10-15 hours per week, split position - Also have PRN available. Both communities are located in the north Columbus suburbs, offering access to a large and growing senior population with consistent therapy needs. Dublin, Ohio, is known for its strong healthcare presence, safe neighborhoods, and well-developed senior services network. The Polaris area near Polaris Fashion Place is a major hub with easy highway access, making travel between buildings efficient. Requirements

  • Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations.
  • Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results.
  • Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitor and adjust treatment plans; educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.
