PRN Speech-Language Pathologist - Acute Care
About The Position
PT Solutions is hiring a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist for acute care in Sylacauga, Alabama, working in partnership with Coosa Valley Medical Center to provide rehabilitation therapy services. The role focuses on delivering evidence-based care that helps patients return home or transition to their next level of care. The position requires two weekend day shifts per month, one major holiday, and one minor holiday. The listed pay is $55.00 per hour; compensation may vary based on factors including background, experience, and work location, with opportunities for salary growth within the position. Requirements
- Graduate of a CAA-approved Speech-Language Pathology program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based, quality care to help each patient return home or transition to the next level of care.
- Establish timely treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Build positive connections with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members.
- Build and maintain relationships with hospital colleagues, including physicians, case management staff, and nurses.
