About The Position

Perform comprehensive speech-language and swallowing evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy for speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and dysphagia disorders. Conduct bedside swallowing assessments, educate patients and caregivers, document treatment progress, recommend adaptive communication strategies, collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation staff, and assist with discharge planning to maximize patient independence and quality of life.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience in evaluating and treating a variety of speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and dysphagia disorders
• Experience with bedside swallowing assessments
• Strong documentation skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and rehabilitation staff

Nice To Haves

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Bilingual abilities
