As a member of the Medical Program team, the Speech-Language Pathologist will provide identification, assessment, treatment, management, education, counseling, preventative and consultative services for an acutely ill adult population. These individuals may present with communication and swallowing difficulties due to impairments of language, speech production, cognitive-communication, oropharyngeal (swallowing) function, voice/resonance and/or fluency. This position will support patients in the Burn Unit, Trauma, General Surgery, Orthopedics and the Intensive Care Units.
