About The Position

Aspire Educational Services (AES) is seeking contracting Speech Language Pathologists for full-time and part-time roles for the extended school year (ESY) in Philadelphia and surrounding counties. AES is dedicated to providing a high level of service, attention-to-detail, and technical expertise, building strong relationships within the local educational community. Requirements

Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited college or university.
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License or Certificate.
PDE Certification.
Proof of professional liability insurance.
Experience in a PreK-12 school setting.
Valid Driver’s License, proof of registration, and insurance.
Must have current (or be able to clear) required state and federal background checks and relevant clearances.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, assess, develop, and execute individualized treatment plans for people experiencing communication problems involving speech and language or swallowing disorders that affect the ability to eat and drink properly.
Develop and implement individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.
Monitor students as they carry out the tasks given to them.
Identify need for and make referrals to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of the student.
Observe & assess clients' progress and prepare detailed reports.
Collaborate with IEP teams.
