About The Position
Safire Rehab of Northtowns is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their skilled nursing rehabilitation team. The role involves helping residents improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function, building meaningful patient relationships in a supportive rehab environment.
Requirements
- Active SLP license required
- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional outcomes and quality of life
- Provide therapy for residents recovering from neurological, medical, and post-acute conditions
- Collaborate with nursing, rehab staff, physicians, and families to coordinate care
- Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation
