About The Position

Our partner elementary school is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join their welcoming team. At AnthroMed Education, we focus on creating the best environment for our SLPs to achieve excellent student outcomes. In this role, you will make an impact with students who have severe profound behavioral and intellectual challenges. You will be working in a supportive district and on a multidisciplinary team. This position has the opportunity to become full time dependent on caseload numbers and need as the school year progresses. This program supports students with the most severe-profound behavioral and intellectual challenges. The treating SLP should be familiar with and passionate about supporting behaviors and AAC implementation. You will be working with grades 2-6. Access to shared office space.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Valid School Speech Language Pathologist licensure.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Prior experience with documentation in the schools, including evaluations and IEPs.
  • Familiarity and comfort supporting severe needs students.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language pathology services to students with severe profound behavioral and intellectual challenges.
  • Support student behaviors and implement AAC.
  • Work with students in grades 2-6.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Complete documentation including evaluations and IEPs.
