About The Position
The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders. This role requires providing coverage on ARU and acute units, with an option for 3 days a week and 2 Saturdays a month. More shift coverage is preferred. The position is located in Inglewood, CA and is a Per Diem job type.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current and unrestricted state SLP license.
- Current BLS certification, if required by the facility.
- Experience evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Ability to provide coverage on ARU and the acute units.
- Option for 3 days a week and 2 Saturdays a month.
- 16 to 24 hours per week depending on census.
Nice To Haves
- CCC-SLP certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred or required by many employers.
- ACUTE experience preferred.
