About The Position

This role is for a Speech Language Pathologist at Ascension St. Vincent's Clay County Hospital in Middleburg, FL. The position is for a Day Shift, PRN schedule. The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate and treat patients using evidence-based clinical techniques, educate and counsel patients and families on personalized treatment plans, document clinical progress and uphold quality improvement standards, and facilitate seamless discharge from speech therapy services and coordinate community support.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Speech language pathologist provisional license will be accepted until license is issued. License must be obtained within 12 months of hire date or job transfer date.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
