About The Position

Therapy Tree is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) who are passionate about working with children and families. This role involves implementing therapy using a coaching model approach with parent education, working with families in their natural environments to coach parents and caregivers with strategies to implement during routines. Therapists will manage their own caseloads and set service area limits, with full-time caseloads building gradually over time. The ideal candidate will possess a desire to work with children and families, demonstrating compassion and commitment. The role requires the ability to work independently while appreciating collaboration with a supportive team. Therapists are responsible for maintaining promptness to all visits and communicating changes in schedule with the child's care team. Requirements

• CF-SLPs: Must be on track to earn a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CCC-SLPs: Must hold a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA CCC-SLP certification, and be eligible for North Carolina licensure.
• A passion for working with diverse socioeconomic populations.
• The ability to implement therapy using a coaching model approach with parent education is critical to the success of therapy outcomes.
• No toy bags are permitted when working with children in the CDSA.
• Therapy Tree therapists should possess a desire to work with children and families.
• Ability to work independently, while appreciating the opportunity to collaborate with a supportive team of therapists.
• Therapists are responsible for maintaining promptness to all visits, as well as communication with all members of a child’s care team when there is a change in schedule.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy using a coaching model approach with parent education.
