About The Position

Adoration Home Health is seeking a passionate, dedicated Home Health SLP to join our team in Morgantown, WV. Our Home Health SLP provides expert, patient-centered care. The Home Health Speech Language Pathologist will communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty, determining the need for continued therapy services. They will teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices, and teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability. Additionally, they will educate and guide healthcare team members, patients, and caregivers in specific aspects of therapeutic exercises to support continued progress outside of direct therapy sessions, and document appropriate progress and clinical notes noting patient's response to therapy and submit visit documentation per Agency policy.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from a college or university with accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• A minimum of one (1) year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Current, unrestricted license as an Speech Language Pathologist by state in which practicing
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) or CPR certification in accordance state regulations
