About The Position

Huckeye Health Staffing is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-person speech therapy services at Wingate High School in Fort Wingate, New Mexico. This is a school-based contract position located in Eagle Butte, South Dakota, with a schedule of 3 days per week, 8 hours per day, for approximately 24 hours per week. The role involves evaluating students' speech, language, and communication needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, providing direct therapy, monitoring progress, and collaborating with school personnel and families.

Requirements

• Previous Speech Therapist / Speech-Language Pathologist experience
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current and active New Mexico Speech-Language Pathologist license/certification
• Strong communication, assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, school personnel, families, and other professionals

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students’ speech, language, communication, and related needs
• Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services
• Monitor and document student progress
• Participate in care/education planning and interdisciplinary collaboration as required
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
