About The Position
Functional Pathways is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join their team at Westminster Canterbury Richmond, an award-winning Life Care Community. This role involves working across a 60-acre campus serving nearly 900 residents in independent living, assisted living, memory support, and healthcare settings. The community is celebrating 50 years and is expanding with a new Vital Living Center and Clubhouse, including a fitness center, aquatic center, and spa. The position offers an opportunity to join a collaborative interdisciplinary team in a consistently recognized best retirement community in Central Virginia.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA (CCC) Certification or CFY seeking CCC Certification
- Active state license required
Responsibilities
- Screen patients
- Evaluate patients
- Re-evaluate patients
- Develop discharge plans
- Make revisions in any established plan of care as supervised by the physician
