This is a part-time Speech Language Pathologist position that provides services all throughout Essex County, NY, with a flexible 16-hour schedule. The role involves performing speech therapy evaluations, providing service notes, monthly billing, and various reports, and utilizing evidence-based practices to provide SLP services.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in related field.
- NYS certification as Speech/Language Pathologist, Certification of Clinical Competence from American Speech & Hearing Association, and/or NYS certification as Teacher of Speech & Hearing Handicapped.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a SLP working with children under 6 years old is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform speech therapy evaluations using standardized evaluations and clinical judgement to make assessments on a child’s current levels of functioning and determine the need for speech therapy.
- Provide service notes, monthly billing, evaluation reports, annual reports, IFSP reports and make sure they are submitted in a timely manner.
- Utilize evidence based practices to provide SLP services.
