About The Position
Day Kimball Health is hiring for a part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our HomeCare Speech Therapy department! This role involves organizing and administering prescribed speech therapy programs to help patients achieve their maximum functional potential, working under the general direction of the Rehabilitation Supervisor in Home Care and Director for In-patient Rehabilitation Services.
Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited program in Speech Language Pathology required.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Connecticut license or Connecticut license eligible required.
- CPR Certification required.

- Minimum of one year experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates and treats patients as prescribed by referring physician.
- Records treatment, response, progress and discharge information in patient’s chart.
- Educates patient, family and significant others regarding condition, treatment, home program and Rehabilitation Services.
- Routinely confers with physician and other practitioners in person, by phone, or in writing, regarding progress, regression or change of plan.
- Orients, instructs, and directs other Health Care Team members as needed.
