About The Position

Boothby Therapy Services is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position serving middle school students (grades 6–8) in Bennington, Vermont for the 2026–2027 school year, starting August 2026. This role is open to both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CF-SLP / CFY) who are passionate about pediatric and school-based settings. The position offers guaranteed hourly pay, flexible scheduling, mentorship support for Clinical Fellows, and a collaborative team environment within a mission-driven organization focused on student success.

Requirements

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP)
Active Vermont SLP license (or eligibility)
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

Experience or interest in pediatrics, school-based therapy, or special education preferred

Responsibilities

Provide school-based speech-language therapy services to middle school students
Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and services
Deliver direct therapy services (individual and small group sessions)
Support students with articulation and phonology, receptive and expressive language, social/pragmatic communication skills, and fluency and voice disorders
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, occupational therapists (OTs), and physical therapists (PTs)
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
Communicate regularly with families and caregivers
