About The Position
Join a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) team as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week assignment working 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with 35 guaranteed hours per week. The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders. This role focuses on improving functional communication, cognitive abilities, and safe swallowing to enhance patient independence and quality of life.
Requirements
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License required
- Strong communication and documentation skills required
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams required
- Knowledge of regulatory and documentation standards required
Nice To Haves
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Rehabilitation experience preferred
- Experience with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders preferred
- Experience with dysphagia assessment and treatment preferred
