About The Position

Shore Educational Collaborative is a multi-service agency providing services for people with disabilities. Our school for students from pre-kindergarten to age 22 is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist. Working within a team of related services providers, the SLP will provide direct services to students and consultative services to educators, staff and families. Responsibilities will also include participating in the IEP process and additional documentation. Salary is based on education and experience. All school staff who may be expected to manage behavior must obtain and maintain certification in Shore's approved behavioral safety training program (Safety Care or equivalent). These skills are essential to ensuring the safety of all program participants and staff, and to meet state and federal requirements related to the safe implementation of behavior intervention plans. Selected candidates will work during the six week summer program. In addition, this position may include providing services to other school districts. Teachers in Educational Collaboratives participate in the Massachusetts Teachers' Retirement System. Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited program.
  • Current Massachusetts licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Eligibility for clinical fellowship.
  • Passing score on the Praxis Exam.
  • Obtain and maintain certification in Shore's approved behavioral safety training program (Safety Care or equivalent).

Responsibilities
