About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring Speech Language Pathologists for the 2026-2027 school year in the greater Salem, OR area. We’re seeking passionate and collaborative professionals who are excited to make a meaningful impact in the school-based setting. This is an in-person, full-time Early Childhood Role (Ages 3-5) starting August 21, 2026. The position may require traveling between school sites in the Greater Salem, OR area (Marion, Polk, and Yamhill Counties).

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Active Oregon SLP License (or CFY)

Nice To Haves

• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services in the school setting
• Conduct assessments and write comprehensive evaluation reports
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
