About The Position

HealthPRO Pediatrics is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our fun and growing Early Intervention team in Chambersburg, PA! This position offers flexible scheduling options, including Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN opportunities. Therapists can start with a few hours a week and build up to Full-Time, or work as little as 2 hours/week with PRN options. Hybrid options are also available. The compensation is flexible, with standard rates of $75/hour, and higher rates for those willing to travel across county lines. Service areas are designed to keep visits within a 30-minute drive from the therapist's home, with options in Chambersburg, Mercersburg, Shippensburg, or Waynesboro, PA areas. Therapists create their own schedules based on availability, with sessions typically lasting 1 hour, including therapy and documentation time on a company-provided laptop. Requirements

  • Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Speech Language Pathologist sessions through the use of current best practices based on services defined in the child’s Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP).
  • Work with families/caregivers in the child’s natural environment and throughout the community while supporting the families daily routines.
  • Collaborate with other professionals that support the child/family to aid in the achievement of outlined goals.
  • Maintain all documentation of service delivery required by the program. This includes session noted, quarterly progress summaries, and annual IFSP input.
