PediaPlex is a collaborative, multidisciplinary pediatric therapy center providing ABA therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and feeding support to children and families across the DFW area. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support the communication needs of children with a variety of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist issued by the State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology (SBESLPA) or TEA certification in Speech Therapy
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
  • Strong knowledge of assessments and standardized tools for diagnosing communication disorders
  • Understanding of evaluation, habilitation, and rehabilitation principles for speech and language conditions
  • Ability to manage client behavior and implement evidence-based therapy techniques
  • Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary professionals

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to determine the presence and severity of communication disorders
  • Develop Plans of Care with appropriate long-term and short-term therapeutic goals
  • Plan and deliver individualized therapy aligned with assessment outcomes
  • Evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans based on data and observations
  • Interpret assessment findings and prepare diagnostic statements and recommendations
  • Participate in parent and caregiver conferences to explain assessment results and collaborate on goal development
  • Maintain thorough documentation and reporting in accordance with clinical and regulatory guidelines
