About The Position

This role involves providing comprehensive speech-language therapy services to approximately 30+ students throughout the school year, including summer compensatory services. The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), maintaining accurate service logs, and documenting student progress within school systems. Collaboration with teachers, staff, parents, and participation in multidisciplinary team meetings are key aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist certification
  • Current state license (New Mexico required)

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language therapy to ~30+ students
  • Deliver weekly therapy sessions throughout the school year
  • Provide summer compensatory services
  • Review and implement IEPs
  • Maintain service logs after each session
  • Document progress in school systems (e.g., NASIS)
  • Support development of student communication skills
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Provide updates to teachers, staff, and parents
  • Participate in virtual or in-person meetings
