Speech Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP Only)
About The Position
This opportunity is for an experienced pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) who is passionate about both helping children communicate and developing the next generation of clinicians. Cole Health recognizes the value of seasoned pediatric clinicians and seeks an SLP with several years of pediatric experience to serve as a clinical leader, mentor, and supervisor, while continuing to provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Texas SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Several years of pediatric speech-language pathology experience preferred
- Experience supervising or mentoring students, Clinical Fellows, and/or SLPAs preferred
- Passion for clinical teaching, leadership, and developing future clinicians
- Commitment to delivering exceptional care to children and families
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor graduate student clinicians during clinical placements
- Provide guidance and support to Clinical Fellows as they transition into independent practice
- Collaborate with and supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Share clinical expertise and best practices with a multidisciplinary team
- Help shape the future of pediatric speech-language pathology through teaching and mentorship
- Provide comprehensive pediatric speech and language evaluations and treatment
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary team members to achieve meaningful outcomes
- Support clinical excellence and professional growth within the organization
- Help children develop communication skills that positively impact their lives
