About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Tuba City, AZ. This position involves performing speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations and treatments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapy services for various disabilities. The role also includes conducting specialty evaluations and treatments, educating patients and families, and maintaining accurate electronic health records. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is a key aspect of this role.

Requirements

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program required
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
Current unrestricted Speech-Language Pathology license required (AZ or any U.S. state/territory)
Current BLS Certification required
Minimum 2 years of SLP experience required
Must be eligible for medical staff credentialing
SLPAs will not be accepted

Responsibilities

Perform speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations and treatments
Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient needs
Provide therapy services for developmental, cognitive, emotional, and physical disabilities
Conduct specialty evaluations and treatments including: Videofluoroscopy (VFSS) / Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS), Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES), Cognitive therapy, Voice therapy, Pediatric speech/language therapy, Pediatric feeding evaluations
Educate patients, families, and staff on treatment plans and home programs
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record system
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and rehabilitation teams
