About The Position
We are looking for a proactive employee to practice and provide SLP services to children and adults with a range of developmental, physical and/or health related disabilities.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- NYS license required
- Maintain continuing education and current licensure
- CCC and ATP are required
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and transportation necessary to meet program needs
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds
- Must be willing to have a flexible schedule based on therapy needs of assigned caseload
Responsibilities
- Evaluations and revaluations for individuals on caseload
- Development of Plan of Care (POC)
- Provision of Speech Therapy treatment
- Maintaining knowledge of Augmentative and Alternative Communication, Assistive Technology, and Early Intervention, best practices and implements as appropriate
- Completing treatment plans, evaluations, billing forms, and discharge summaries
- Performing home evaluations or trainings
