This position involves evaluating, planning, and providing therapeutic intervention for speech and language deficits in individuals with acquired brain injury. The role requires administering evaluations, developing exercise programs, consulting with consumers and referring them to additional services, and implementing the company's philosophical principles for effective service delivery. The Speech Language Pathologist will assist individuals in identifying needs and developing compensation techniques, testing and evaluating abilities, analyzing medical data, and recommending environmental changes. The role also includes evaluating progress, preparing reports, educating consumers and families, integrating goals, training support staff, and providing services as designated in the plan of care. Additionally, the position involves designing adaptive equipment, working directly with consumers to improve life skills, maintaining documentation, attending training, and contributing to departmental goals.
