About The Position

Deliver Speech-Language Pathology services to patients in accordance with speech-language therapy principles and Reliant Rehabilitation standards. Build positive relationships with clients and facility staff while providing high-quality care, including patient screening and evaluation, treatment-plan development and implementation, discharge planning, and case management. Maintain professional conduct that reflects Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to excellence and comply with applicable state and federal regulations.

Requirements

Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Speech-Language Pathology.
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license.
Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English for effective communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

Improve patients’ communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing abilities through the direct provision and oversight of speech therapy.
Contribute to the development and sustainability of a robust SLP program.
Strengthen clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education.
Maintain a valid state license and stay informed about developments in speech-language pathology and the healthcare environment.
Apply knowledge of relevant billing models and treatment guidelines to ensure care meets clinical and regulatory standards.
Deliver care that aligns with treatment goals and produces meaningful outcomes.
Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility.
Use English proficiently for communication and documentation.
Maintain confidentiality as appropriate and comply with the state practice act in the state(s) where licensed.
Perform patient screening and evaluation, develop and implement treatment plans, plan discharges, and provide case management.
