As our Speech Language Pathologist, you will be a vital clinician, expertly assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders to significantly improve patient quality of life. Every day, you will conduct comprehensive evaluations for all referred patients, meticulously implementing individualized treatment plans. You'll contribute clinical expertise to develop/upgrade treatment programs/protocols, and actively shape departmental and organizational goals. To be successful in this role, you will possess advanced clinical knowledge, exceptional diagnostic/therapeutic skills, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Evaluates assigned patients within the guidelines established by the therapist and in compliance with departmental policies and procedures. Implements competent treatment and performs regular reassessments for the purpose of treatment modification, to maximize patient’s potential for functional independence, all in accordance of departmental standards. Completes all required documentation and maintains pertinent records of all assigned patients, in order to be in compliance with Joint Commission, CARF, Medicare, and all other regulatory requirements. Demonstrates the ability to be efficient and productive by organizing job duties and responsibilities. Maintains effective communication regarding Therapy programs and departmental issues.

Requirements

  • Masters Of Science Speech Pathology from a school accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Prior student or work experience in a Rehab setting, upon hire.
  • Speech Language Pathologist: KY, upon hire.
  • Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology, upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire.

Responsibilities
