About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year in Cary, NC. Requirements

Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs)
Active NPI number
Minimum of one year of experience in a school-based setting
Ability to pass background clearances, including fingerprinting for preschool settings

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Administer assessments and interpret data to distinguish between language disorders and dialectal differences, communicating findings clearly to families and teams.
Design and deliver high-quality therapy in individual and group sessions using creative resources to drive measurable student progress.
Manage the end-of-year IEP process within state systems, ensuring all services and eligibility determinations adhere to IDEA and Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) frameworks.
Partner with educators and parents while maintaining adaptability regarding scheduling and school assignments.
