About The Position

Boothby Therapy Services is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based speech therapy services to an early childhood caseload in Gray, Maine. This position is for the 2026-27 school year and is situated within a supportive, collaborative educational/special education setting. The role is open to both experienced SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFY/CF-SLP) who are passionate about pediatric and school-based environments.

Requirements

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
CCC-SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP)
Active Maine SLP license (or eligibility)
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

Interest or experience in pediatrics, school-based therapy, or special education

Responsibilities

Provide school-based speech-language therapy services to elementary students
Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments
Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and services
Deliver direct therapy services (individual and small group sessions)
Support students with: Articulation and phonology, Receptive and expressive language, Social/pragmatic communication skills, Fluency and voice disorders
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, occupational therapists (OTs), and physical therapists (PTs)
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
Communicate regularly with families and caregivers
