This position plans and implements advanced, individualized treatment programs for high-acuity and medically complex patients according to the principles of Speech/Language Pathology. Requirements

  • Current Montana Speech Language Pathology license
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Advanced certification in one of the following: BCS-S FEES MBSImP VFSS
  • Proven ability to independently manage high-acuity and medically complex cases
  • BLS (RQI Provider) within 7 days of hire (or prior to independent patient care)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement advanced, individualized treatment plans for medically complex patients
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations across physical, cognitive, and communication domains
  • Utilize instrumental assessments and specialty techniques (based on certification and experience)
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans using clinical judgment and evidence-based practices
  • Serve as a mentor and clinical resource for team members
  • Lead and participate in interdisciplinary care coordination, especially for complex cases
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements
