About The Position

Lionsgate is a Public Charter School that specializes in educating students with Autism or other learning differences and offers more than a typical school. This position involves working with a caseload of approximately 30 middle and high school students in pull-out, push-in, and small group settings at one campus. The SLP will collaborate closely with other support services such as social work, occupational therapy, and DAPE. ASHA dues and professional development are paid by the district. Caseloads focus on social communication, perspective taking, expressive/receptive language, and fluency, with minimal articulation. Many students utilize AAC and functional communication skills are targeted.

Requirements

MN Educational Speech Language Pathologist license
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF)
Ability to operate a computer and the software necessary to complete the required job tasks
Knowledge and experience working with students on the autism spectrum

Nice To Haves

One year previous experience working with middle school or high school age youth

Responsibilities
