About The Position
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Speech-Language Pathologist to join our educational team. In this vital role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and speech disorders among K-5 students. Requirements
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with appropriate credentials for school settings
- Familiarity with school-based programs, IEP (Individualized Education Program) development, and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, educators, and healthcare providers
- Ability to adapt therapy methods to meet the unique needs of each student while maintaining a positive and motivating approach

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students to identify communication challenges
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs, incorporating evidence-based therapy techniques
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students with diverse speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to implement effective communication strategies and support systems
- Monitor student progress regularly and adjust therapy approaches accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes
- Educate families on speech development milestones and provide guidance for ongoing support at home
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, progress notes, and compliance records in accordance with school policies
