About The Position

THRIVE THERAPY OF KANSAS is seeking a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide individualized care to clients living with brain injuries. The role involves empowering individuals to rediscover their voice and confidence through therapy services delivered in various settings, including clients' homes, community spaces, and therapy centers. The mission is to bring compassionate, individualized care to clients living with brain injuries.

Requirements

Active Kansas SLP license
Reliable vehicle for travel between service locations (vehicles provided for full-time, direct employees)
Valid driver’s and car license
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries
Excellent organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities

Providing speech therapy services to individuals on the Brain Injury Waiver.
Working across various settings—including clients' homes, community spaces (such as coffee shops, parks, stores), and our therapy centers.
Delivering speech and language therapy, swallowing therapy, and cognitive-communication interventions.
Demonstrating a solid understanding of the indications and contraindications for various therapeutic modalities and techniques.
Collaborating closely with an incredible team of administrative staff and care providers.
Maintaining strict adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards.
Following daily scheduling protocols, communicating effectively with team members, and adjusting schedules as needed for flexibility.
