The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats individuals with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, supporting patient recovery and communication improvement. This role involves assessing speech, language, and swallowing abilities, developing and implementing treatment plans based on patient needs, and providing education to patients and families regarding therapy goals. The Speech Language Pathologist is also responsible for accurately documenting evaluations, treatments, and patient progress, and collaborating with healthcare teams on care coordination. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
