About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) for the 2026–2027 school year. This position involves conducting speech evaluations, providing therapy, developing IEPs, documentation, and collaborating with special education teams within school districts in the Greater Chicago Area. The start date is August 2026 for the 2026-2027 School Year.

Requirements

• Illinois state license or willingness to acquire ASAP
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement or willingness to acquire ASAP
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in school or special education settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide treatment services
• Complete IEPs and related documentation
• Collaborate closely with special education teams
• Manage assigned caseload (discussed during interview)
