About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) to join their teams, providing home health visits in patients' homes and in senior living communities throughout New Hampshire. The role involves working with adult and geriatric clients in their homes, focusing on improving communication, swallowing, and overall quality of life. Prior home health experience is not required, and the company offers support for those passionate about patient care. The SLP will be part of a collaborative care team, helping clients remain safely at home.
Requirements
- An active SLP license in New Hampshire
- Graduate of a speech-language pathologist program accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology with the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Comfort with basic technology and documentation systems
Nice To Haves
- Prior home health experience is not required
Responsibilities
- Visit clients in their homes across your assigned area
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing challenges
- Create personalized care plans and adjust them as your clients progress
- Partner with other clinicians to deliver well-rounded care
- Educate patients and families so they feel confident continuing care at home
- Document your visits and progress using our easy-to-use EMR system
